As the years go by, I think we need quotes like these to remind us that life is a gift. It’s so easy to get bogged down by how old we are. It’s easy to say, “Well, I’m just old.” However, I see people older than me, who don’t seem to know how old they are. They are an inspiration. They still exercise, travel, volunteer, work, learn, laugh, have positive attitudes about everything. Look for these people. They are everywhere. They inspire us and give us hope that being old doesn’t mean you have to stop living and learning. These people embrace change and do not lament that life is not what used to be. They look forward and not backwards. I suggest we surround ourselves with these people and see how they make life more fun.
