I’ve just celebrated another year. On my birthday I thanked God for this past year and for my health. 

I feel so blessed. I just vacationed with my wonderful daughters, my husband, and 3 grandchildren. My family brings me so much joy. They all keep me young at heart. 

I look back on year 71 and remember all the amazing things that I was able to do: hiking, climbing on mountains, going in caves, seeing wonderful sights all over the world. That doesn’t mean I don’t have aches and pains, but I do have determination. There are always older people doing the same things and they inspire me. 

One of my favorites of this past year was seeing my great-niece graduate from high school. 

Bob and I also celebrated anniversary #52. That’s another wow!

I am hoping for another blessed year and more challenges to conquer. Wish me luck!
