How quickly the year went by. Now I’m 71 and still ticking. I’ve celebrated my birthday twice-once on each cruise ship. That was fun!
I’ve been on an amazing trip with my wonderful friend Sue-a month in Europe!
We started May 25 and finished on June 25. We cruised the Baltic Sea and then the Adriatic Sea.
We have traveled by airplane, ship, boat, bus, taxi, and train. Sometimes we had to drag luggage through city streets and through airport, ship, and train terminals. Yes, I was able to do it; although I was trailing quite a pace back from my younger traveling companion. Anyway, I was proud of myself for making it.
We’ve met amazing people in every country and on both cruises. We’ve met people of all ages. But the ones who amaze me are the ones even older than me. The ones who are still enjoying travel. They are my inspiration. They are the ones who inspire me and who show me that you can still travel in your 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and beyond.
I look forward to my next adventure.
