Lucky To Have Teeth

It’s happened before and it’ll probably happen again. A tooth broke when I was eating lunch.

Back I went to the dentist just after getting my teeth cleaned. As I was talking to the dental assistant about my unfortunate luck, she came back with a comment that I was lucky to have any teeth at my age. Not again! Granted that my grandparents had false teeth at my age and George Washington supposedly had wooden teeth, things have changed. Good dental check ups, dental floss, crowns, etc. help us keep our teeth in our “old” age.

Please don’t emphasize it. I know I am lucky!

Oh, by the way, she also commented that I have beautiful skin for my age.

Well, I plan to take these as compliments-not reminders of how old I am and how my health has no where to go but downhill. I’ll just keep bouncing back in spite of the comments about my age.
