A Little Fun

I was reading a little book, called 14 Day Brain Workout. One day suggested writing Haiku. It is a way to challenge yourself to think differently and creatively. Well, everyone including seniors of the world needs to be challenged mentally. So as a senior I’ve challenged myself to write a few haiku (an ancient Japanese form of poetry that makes use of images that are seasonal and sensory in nature). An Amazing Trip

    I have finally made a trip to South America. My wonderful friend and travel buddy, Sue, and I are on the way home from a fabulous trip to Peru and Bolivia. Our main purpose was to see Machu Picchu, but we had the opportunity to see many Inca sights and pre-Inca sites. We got a great view into the ancient cultures of those who lived in the Andes Mountains and insight in today’s Andean cultures.
